TROUBLED YEAR
Shane I have been through a terrible time. In June 2005 I suffered a STROKE. I was completely paralysed down my left side, my recovery has been very good, however I have been left with severe emotional side effects and depression. My stroke occured at my twin sisters husbands funeral. I was just 43 at the time. Earlier this year I met John on the internet and we struck up a relationship, sadly the relationship was extreemly violent. John was a secret drinker and when drinking would be completely controlling. He threatened to burn my mum and twin sisters housesdown if i left him. John was in trouble with the police and to cut a long story short laterly was on the run fearing prison. He has also ensured that i have ended up suspended from my job and i am in a little trouble to as he made me post a camera to the detectives investigating. That is a long story however and will no doubt have me in Crown Court around the time of your concert. My twin bought tickets for your concert for my birthday on the Saturday in February. John and i were planning to come together. John and i played your alblum constantly and coming to your concert will be very emotional for me and i shall probably cry most of the way through. I never want to see John agin but you strong lyrics mean so much to me and dispite John pleading guilty to my attempted murder in scotland i know i need to move on. I intend to come to the concert with my friend. I have lost everything because of John my friends, my dignity and pride, but it is your alblum that i go to sleep with everynight.
