Just take a step back from everything – a lot of quiet time. Just hope, basically; try and work my hardest in rehearsal to ensure that the tour's gonna be fantastic. And the response I’ve got from the crowds is great. I’m happy! You’ve got two nights in Glasgow: anything special planned? I've been to the SECC before with the X Factor show, so it's going to be great coming back by myself. With my first album being mainly ballads, I know a lot of people are not really expecting much of a show, to be honest; but people are really in for a big surprise. And we hear you've got an edgier sound lined up for album number two? Yes. It's just a lot younger – the first album was kind of serious, the second album is a lot more suited to my age. I'm 22, it's younger, funkier, kind of more like what people want to hear now. Which song in the history of pop do you wish you'd written? If it could be any… If You're Not The One by Daniel Bedingfield. Definitely. No Promises. Is that a good philosophy to have in life? Everyone needs a promise sometime don't they? So, maybe not. Wise words. So what other life lessons have you learned since becoming famous? Now you're making me think! Just to think about things a lot more and understand everything that's going on. Because a lot of things you need to be very prepared for, so it's made me a lot more confident. It must be a busy life you lead. How do you like to relax? I sit back, have a nice cup of tea, and hopefully catch a bit of football or a movie. And who can blame young Shayne for needing a wee hot beverage every now and then?
