The 2005 X-Factor winner is polite, gentle and humble. After spending three hours with the 22-year-old, I’m left with one prominent memory - Shayne giving an exclusive of his big single No Promises to a terminally ill girl via a webcam. There we were, 10 of us, in the hotel suite, wrapping up lights and packing away cameras, while Shayne found the time to chat and sing uninterrupted. I was very impressed.
