X-Factor stars Eton Road are making Xmas dreams come true for six sickchildren. The reality TV stars, who have made it to the third week of the talent show, have teamed up with children's charity When You Wish Upon A Star to help ill children who are fighting for their lives. The Liverpool boy band have already won the heart of a terminally-ill 13-year-old. The group agreed to perform at a charity fundraiser after they were kicked off the competition in its early stages. But after being invited back into the show they had to cancel their appearance. Instead they donated X-factor tickets, which should have been for family members or friends, to the charity. The tickets raised enough money to send six children on a Christmas visit to Lapland to meet Santa Claus, have a sleigh ride and be flown out in the charity's specially adapted plane with all the medical equipment they need. Before their surprise re-entry in the competition they had also promised to sing at the birthday party of X-factor mad Emma Whitely. The teenager has a genetic disease called San Fillipas which is shortening her life. The teenager has a genetic disease called San Fillipas which is shortening her life. Although the singers couldn't attend they asked all the con-*test*-('")ants on the show, and judge Louis Walsh to sign a placard for her and send her a huge birthday card and presents. Her mother Lily, from Flixton, Manchester, said: "Emma has a young mental age, but she loves music and the X-factor. The boys have promised to come and sing for her when they finish on the show and the card and present were a lovely surprise. "They dedicated asong to her on Saturday and I think they've been marvellous." Sue Hickling from the charity said: "They are very young men and for them to care so much for children whoare less fortunate is fantastic."
